Kylie’s philosophy is to approach the body and mind holistically. She is a strong advocate for empowering her patients and encourages them to lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle in order to assist them to reach their health goals sooner. Kylie’s advice on exercise and dietary changes help support her patients’ to play an active role in their own healing.Kylie also works with patients dealing with issues like anxiety, stress and depression. She will often utilise techniques like NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and mindfulness meditations with her patients who may have stress, strong emotions or negative belief patterns that exacerbate their condition.

Kylie is registered with AHPRA and is a member of AACMA. She is a highly trained acupuncturist with both an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and a Bachelor of Health Science in TCM. Kylie has also trained in Oriental Massage and has completed her level 1 NLP practitioner trainer.

Catherine is accredited with both the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and a registered practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Catherine graduated from the University of Western Sydney receiving a Bachelor’s degree of Applied Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004, studying both in Sydney & China. Catherine also completed an internship at Jiangsu Province Chinese Medicine Hospital in Nanjing People’s Republic of China.

Catherine’s main focus in clinic is in supporting men and women through their fertility journey, providing supportive care for patients through natural conception or IVF, as well as ongoing care for women throughout pregnancy and post partum period.
Clare is the founder of Discover Chinese Medicine and has established the clinic as a centre with a focus on working with women’s health, and with both men and women in the area of fertility. Her practical problem solving approach to exploring your health concerns is designed to also bringing harmony to your mind and soul.
Clare decided to embark on a career in natural medicine when conventional medicine failed her. There were no answers as to why she couldn’t get well, doctors had no solutions for her, so she sought out an alternative approach. Clare’s health has been on the improve ever since, and she is now healthier in her late 30s than she has ever been.
Clare knows what is worth spending time, effort and money on, and what’s not. When you see Clare you see someone who has in depth education, in depth clinical experience, and who isn’t afraid to give her opinion on what she thinks is a waste of time, and what she knows assesses to be the best ways for you to heal yourself. She knows how hard it is to have symptoms that doctors don’t believe are real, and to have your illness dismissed as being all in your head.

Prior to Chinese Medicine, Clare previously studied Chemical Engineering where she refined her analytical and practical problem solving approach to life. She has been working in the health industry since 2001. She is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association and registered with AHPRA, as a Chinese Medicine Practitioner. Clare has completed training with the Mindd Foundation in the treatment of learning and behavioural disorders in children. She has completed training with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine in the use of nutritional supplements, vitamins and herbal medicines – this integrative approach enhances her acupuncture and Chinese medicine approach and philosophy. Clare is a Level 2 yoga teacher and incorporates body and movement assessment and prescription into her treatments.
Clare has gone deeper into the world of integrative medicine, and has developed a framework for interpreting blood tests into a Chinese medicine diagnosis. She has published an educational textbook on this subject for other Chinese medicine practitioners, and runs seminars and workshops for other practitioners to educate them in her areas of expertise. Clare is an active member of the Chinese medicine community and has founded a popular podcast dedicated to the professional development of practitioners around the world called the Heavenly Qi podcast.

Clare has studied Chinese Medicine in both Australia and China, completing a 4 year Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine at Victoria University, and a Certificate of Advanced Clinical Practice at Liaoning Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shenyang, China. She is a level 2 yoga teacher, and has undertaken a comprehensive learning path with a range of education institutions to discover the most effective integrative natural medicine approach to the health of her patients. Clare can offer you an in depth level of clinical expertise and experience that far surpasses what most people have ever received before.
Our open room acupuncture setup allows for up to 6 people in the same room to be treated at the same time. One practitioner will attend to you, then whilst you are relaxing with your acupuncture needles in place, the practitioner can then attend to other patients. In this way we can offer treatment at a cheaper rate than if you had a private room and practitioner all to yourself.
