Theo is skilled in several styles of massage including Ka Huna Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian), Shiatsu (Japanese) and Remedial Therapy (Western). His interest in body work and physical healing began whilst at university, when he started practicing Tai Chi Chuan and discovered the benefits of the movements which included increased strength, flexibility, co-ordination, calmness and vitality. Finding these benefits enhanced by both giving and receiving massage Theo undertook study in various massage modalities. He trained privately with Mette's Institute of Personal Develo[pment in Ka Huna Lomi Lomi and has completed training in Shiatsu and Remedial Massage at The Canberra Institute of Technology. Prior to studying professionally in massage Theo began his post secondary education at the Australian National University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts (Anthropology) and Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry).

Coming from a diverse educational background with both practical and philospohical threads informing his practice Theo has worked with clients from sporting and physical labourers through to corporate professionals and those recovering from injury. Identifying treatment modalities which best suit the individual in order to promote holistic wellbeing is what he strives for. The various massage modalities are excellent for relieving muscle tension, headaches, insomnia as well as remediating soft tissue injurys and increasing energy levels and general immunity. They seek to rebalance both the body and mind.

“I find that receiving a massage often allows you the space you lack in your busy life to become aware of your tension and stresses and to dispel and cope with them. It is healing on both a physical and emotional level.”
